Organisational Capacity Strengthening
The workshop was divided into two sessions. The first session was led and facilitated by two instructors, focusing on the details of networking skills, including the VIA personal character test, writing personal and organizational introductions, researching and understanding the needs and interests of the target audience, and developing social strategies.
In the second session, HER Fund invited six partners, who are members from legal and foundation sectors, to provide participants with practical experience based on what was learned in the first session. This workshop sets up as a simulated scenario – ‘HER Fund Anniversary Event.’ Participants engaged in conversations and got to know different partners. In the last part of the workshop, participants conducted reviews, reflections, and learning.
Outcome：
- Participants experienced a shift in their thinking, understanding the meaning of networking and expanding the space for communication through learning to understand the perspectives of people of different background.
- Participants identified that connecting personal and organizational goals through storytelling was the most important skill they learned.
- They also gained insights in developing social strategies.
